Two Warren Central Junior High School students were still being held Friday in the juvenile detention center after a probable cause hearing Thursday, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said. The investigation is ongoing.

A vehicle was missing Friday following a theft reported Friday in Warren County.

At 7:45 a.m. Friday, a 2005 tan Chevrolet Suburban truck was reported stolen from a home on the 100 block of North Drive, according to Warren County Sheriff’s records.

The owner parked the vehicle at 8 p.m. Thursday and discovered it missing Friday morning, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Any with information about the crime is encouraged to call Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-8477, Pace said. Callers remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court.

Crime stoppers will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a felony suspect.

 

Items stolen from city home

Electronics and cash were missing Friday following a burglary reported Thursday in Vicksburg.

At 3 p.m. Thursday, an Apple laptop worth $150, a digital recording system worth $150, a Phillips 52-inch television worth $450, an Emerson 32-inch television worth $250 and a small amount of cash was reported stolen from a home on the 2600 block of Reed Street, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

Warrant issued for man’s arrest

A warrant was issued last week on a Warren County man for obtaining a stolen gun.

Chancey Neal Gray, last known address was with a family member on the 4600 block of Halls Ferry Road, had a warrant for his arrest issued Friday, Dec. 4, for possession, sale or transfer of a stolen firearm, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department and Stacy Rollinson, lead detective on this case, were in contact with Gray over the phone and gave him the opportunity to turn himself in to deputies, Pace said. Gray did not turn himself in and has not been able to be found at his last known address, Pace said.

 

Man arrested on warrent, drugs found

A Warren County man accused of possessing drugs was held without bail Friday.

Joshua Kackley, 32, 144 Hartley Drive, was arrested at 7 a.m. Thursday at Halls Ferry and Pemberton and charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine, Williams said.

Kackley was taken into custody for a misdemeanor warrant and was found to be in possession of crystal meth, Williams said.

 

One arrested on warrant

A man with a Warren County Circuit Court felony warrant for his arrest was held without bail Friday.

Jeffrey Kackley, 32, Smith Station Road, was arrested at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Vicksburg Police Department, Williams said.

 

One out on bail for drug possession

A Warren County man accused of carrying drugs was out on bail Friday.

Eric Ferguson, 27, 25 Warrenton Place, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and charged with possession of ecstasy, Williams said.

Ferguson was pulled over in a traffic stop for loud music in the 3000 block of Indiana Avenue and was found to be in possession of ecstasy, Williams said.

 

One held for selling drugs

A Vicksburg woman accused of selling drugs was held without bail Friday.

Uneka Williams, 33, 1101 Jefferson St. #301, was arrested Thursday and charged with sale of cocaine, according to Warren County jail records.
