Biedenharn, Gonzalez married October 17

Mary Elaine Biedenharn and Carlos Andre Gonzalez, both of Vicksburg, were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Vicksburg. The Rev. Patrick Curley officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Debra Gore Biedenharn and Eric Carlton Biedenharn Jr., both of Vicksburg.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gore Jr., Mrs. Eric Carlton Biedenharn and the late Mr. Eric Carlton Biedenharn, all of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Ruben Gonzalez of Vicksburg.
He is the grandson of Luz Selenia Santiago, Rafael Padilla, Ruben Gonzalez and Carmen M. Martinez, all of Puerto Rico.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her chosen colors were ivory, gold, taupe and shades of purple.
Music was presented by Julia Blake, organist, and Nicholas Blake, violinist.
Terry Winschel of Vicksburg served as lector.
The maid of honor was the bride’s cousin, Ali Biedenharn of Hattiesburg.
Bridesmaids were Marina Bianchi of Cordova, Tenn.; Olivia Aucoin of Baton Rouge, La.; the groom’s sisters, Jennifer Laster of Brandon, and Ingrid Gonzalez-Featherston of Austin, Texas.
Jolie Bartolome served as the proxy bride.
The groom’s father served as best man.
Groomsmen were Paul Pickerell of Waco, Texas; Ivan Garcia of Katy, Texas; the groom’s brothers-in-law, Jared Laster of Brandon, and Robert Featherston of Austin, Texas.
The flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Scarlett Olivia Coutch of Edwards. The groom’s son, Syal MacLane Gonzalez, served as ring bearer.
A reception hosted by the bride’s parents followed at Cedar Grove Mansion.
The couple will make their home in Vicksburg where the groom is employed with Ergon.
