Joe B. Graham Jr. died Dec. 15, 2015. He was 87.

He was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Goodwater, Ala., the son of the late Joe and Sara Graham. Mr. Graham had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1976. He retired from the Corps of Engineers and U.S. Army Europe.

He was a member of the Vicksburg Rotary Club and a longtime member of the Civil Service Board. Mr. Graham was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, where he served on numerous boards.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye McVay; brothers, Neal and Bobby; son, Robin Gann Graham; and grandson Christopher Graham.

He is survived by wife, Elisabeth; children, Penny, Joe III, Dawn, Stan, Lyn, Ann, Becki;  20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Beth Palmer, rector, officiating. Burial will be at Grove Hill, Ala.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Riles Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or charities of choice.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Graham’s grandsons, Brandon Cathey, Ryan Cathey, Dean Graham, Neal Galloway, Patrick Galloway, Caleb Graham, Micah Graham and Ross Carter
