Bertha Elizabeth Wells of Vicksburg died Dec. 21, 2015, at Chadwick Nursing Home in Jackson. She was 89.

Mrs. Wells was born in North Carolina but lived in Vicksburg for many years and attended Goodrum Baptist Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her son, Mike Wigley, and grandson, Terry Ainsworth.

Survivors include her daughter, Opal Ainsworth of Vicksburg; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015 at Glenwood Funeeral Home. With the Rev. Brian Ables officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
