James “Jim” Jarrod Wasson Jr., 9, of Vicksburg passed away Dec. 25, 2015.

He was born in Dubai, UAE, and lived in Vicksburg for five years.

He was a student at Dana Road Elementary School.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Wasson of Vicksburg; two sisters, Analiese Wasson and Maddie Johnson, both of Vicksburg; one brother, Jake Wasson of Vicksburg; maternal grandfather, Enrique Garcia of the Philippines; paternal grandfather, Windel Wayne Wasson of Madison; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Ryan of Vicksburg; step-grandfather, Burt Ryan of Vicksburg; Stepfather, Jay Johnson of Vicksburg; one uncle, Wayne Wasson; and two aunts, Kelly Christian and Kim Wasson.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Glenwood Chapel.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. until the hour of service.

The Rev. Robert Andrews will be conducting the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
