OMAHA, NEB. – Lonell Davis (Shorty) died in Omaha, Neb., Dec. 25, 2015. The service will be in Omaha, Neb., at 11 a.m. Jan. 2, 2016.

He was a resident of Vicksburg and in the class of 1965 at Rosa Temple High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Gaines Graham; sister, Lucille Davis Harris; and brother, Charles Gaines.

Lonell was survived by sisters, Geraldine McDonald of Jackson, Georgia Gaines and Patricia Graham both of Vicksburg; brother, Nathaniel Gaines; daughters, Yvette and Keshia Davis both of Omaha, Neb.; son, Derrick Davis of Omaha, Neb.; and other relatives and friends in Vicksburg and Omaha, Neb.
