Larry Van Allen Sr. of Vicksburg died Friday Jan. 15 in the Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was 73.

Mr. Allen was retired from International Paper Co. and a veteran of the U S. Army. He was a member of the Jackson Street M. B. Church, the Quarter Century Club of International Paper Co. and the American Legion Post #106 of Jackson.
