Services for Karen Denise Stewart Donald will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert L. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1 to 7 p.m. with family present from 6 to 7pm.

Ms. Donald died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at her home. She was 45.

She had been employed with Staffing Solutions until her health began to fail, and was an active member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Sunday School and church. She attended Alcorn State University where she was a member of the Sounds of Dynamite Marching Band.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Stewart; and her brother, Robert Stewart Jr.

Survivors include her son, James “Trey” Donald Jr. of Hattiesburg; father, Robert Stewart of Vicksburg; siblings, Betty Stevens of Vicksburg, Donnell Stewart of Edwards and Stanley Stewart of Southaven; one grandson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
