Marcus Dion “Buddy” Ware

Marcus Dion “Buddy” Ware died Jan. 20, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. He was 36.

Mr. Ware was born Sept. 6, 1979, to Mrs. Georgia A. Love Kemp. He attended Travelers Rest Baptist Church as a teen.

He was 1998 a graduate of Warren Central High School and graduated from Hinds Community College in 2001with an associate’s degree. He attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Love; and his brother, Leron Haggan.

Survivors include his son, Jasiah Dion Ware of Nashville, Tenn.; parents, Jeffery B. and Georgia A. Kemp of Vicksburg; three sisters, Tremesha Ware and Kayla Kemp, both of Vicksburg, and Elizabeth Kemp-Lindsey of Spring, Texas; two brothers, Marvin Ware and Melvin Ware, both of California; grandparents, Earline and Frank Singleton and Louise Benton, all of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Travelers Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregory Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 7 p.m., and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
