Funeral services for Gloria Jean Jenkins-Collins will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Mount Zion No. 1 M. B. Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Collins died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 66, and a member of the Mount Zion No.1 M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maple Jenkins Tucker; and a brother, Leonard Jenkins.

Survivors include four daughters, Cherrie Collins Burks of Vicksburg, Lela Mae Collins of Mesquite, Texas, and Theresa Michelle Collins and April Denise Collins, both of Norcross, Ga.; brother, Bill Jenkins of Aurora, Ill., five sisters, Nanette Tucker and Jeanette Tucker, both of Aurora, Ill., Monica Tucker and Carita Tucker of El Paso, Texas, and Carissa Tucker of Tampa, Fla.; six grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friend.
