CARY — Sterling Tucker Jr. died Jan. 29, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital of Jackson. He was 60.

Survivors include his sons, TeShaun Terrell Johnson of San Diego, Sterling Tucker III of Taxas and Terrance Evans of Terry; a brother, Steven Tucker of Panther Burn; three sisters. Marilyn Carter of Cary, Claudia Taylor of Vicksburg and Yvette Armstrong of Memphis, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Guiding Star M.B. Church with Dr. Reginald Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Community Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home.
