Eunice Thomas Webster, a former resident of Vicksburg died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, in New York.

Mrs. Webster was the daughter of the late Rev. Isaac and Evelyn Thomas and was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.

She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and public schools in Vicksburg, and was

a 1956 graduate of Bowman High School. She attended Jackson State College and received a bachelor’s degree in music.

She was employed with the Grenada School District in Grenada, and later moved to Chicago, where she was employed as a Music Teacher and a counselor.

Mrs. Webster met and married the late Lewis Webster and they had one daughter.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mirian Thomas Norwood.

Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Patrice Webster Reynolds; a sister, Jeannie Thomas; a relatives and friends.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Greater Metropolitan Baptist Church in Chicago. Condolences may be sent to C.B. Taylor Funeral Home, 63 East 79th St., Chicago.
