Lelia Masola McGee-Perkins

Graveside services for Lelia Masola McGee-Perkins will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Michael Reed will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 6.

Mrs. Perkins died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

She was a member and mother of St. Paul M.B. Church, Christian Home Society No. 9, and Christian Home Union Society No. 2. She was a former employee of All Saints School and Trace Haven Convalescent Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Issac Perkins Sr.; parents, Henry McGee and Lydia Ellis; three brothers, Junior Ellis, Luke Ellis and Douglas Ellis; and one sister, Mollie Strong.

Survivors include four sons, Issac Perkins, Jr. of Wylie, Texas, James Perkins of Edwards, Calvin Perkins and Eric Perkins, both of Vicksburg; three daughters, Norma Jean Walker and Shirley Perkins, both of Vicksburg, and Thelma Carver of Milwaukee; two sisters, Margret Baker and Von Dean Frison, both of Batesville; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
