Earnest Sadler Hilderbrand

Earnest Sadler Hilderbrand, of Bentonia, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 80.
He was retired from Cooper Lighting as a set up man, and he was a plant operator for Culkin Water District. He was also a member of Hebron Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 27 years.
Survivors are his wife of 38 years, Sandra Fram Hilderbrand; daughters, Darlene (Reed) Birdsong of Vicksburg, Jamie (Charles) Ross of Vicksburg, Georgia (Edward) Mathas of Vicksburg, Mary (Steve) Mann of Alexander City, Ala. and Charla Rivers of Alexander City, Ala.; sons, John (Nicole) Hilderbrand of Vicksburg and Earnest Hilderbrand Jr. of Bentonia; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Marty Hilderbrand of Bentonia; and sisters, Alice Dillon of Bentonia, Helen Fuller of Gautier and Jamie Bray of Brandon.
Services are at Hebron Baptist Church Monday, Feb. 8 with visitation starting at 1 p.m. until services at 3 p.m. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Scott Soanes will officiate.
