Funeral services for Louise J. Montgomery will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Montgomery died Feb. 21, 2016, at Promise Hospital in Vicksburg. She was 65.

She was born June 18, 1950, to the late Delphine Burks Jackson and the late Louis Jackson in Utica.

She was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of New Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church of Vicksburg.  She was formerly employed at DiamondJacks Casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Montgomery Sr.; and her brother, Elijah Burks.

Survivors include her daughter, Tosha Montgomery of Vicksburg; two sons, Jessie Montgomery Jr. of Vicksburg and Stephen Montgomery of San Diego; two sisters, Mildred Jackson Hicks of Vicksburg and Trinell Burks Newton of Jackson; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
