UTICA — Barry McGuffee, 48, of Utica, passed away at his home March 4, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Lane McGuffee; maternal grandfather, Lauren Van Templeton; maternal grandmother, Lucille P. Templeton; paternal grandfather, Albert H. McGuffee; and paternal grandmother, Dorothy A. McGuffee.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Templeton McGuffee of Utica; his bother, Gary L. (Amanda Boyd) McGuffee of Utica; his two sisters, Theresa M. (Roger) Stevens of Utica and Melissa A. (Christopher) Hinton of Brandon; nephews, Nicholas and Noah Stevens, both of Utica; and niece, Kelsey Hinton of Brandon.

Service will be Monday at 11a.m. at Utica Christian Church burial will follow at Utica Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Rev. Brad Hartzog will be conducting the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Russell McGuffee, Roger Stevens, Nicholas Stevens, Christopher Hinton, Alexzander Parkman, and Robert Templeton.
