ROLLING FORK — Lena Maranto died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was 91.

Mrs. Maranto was born in Anguilla and lived there her whole life. She worked for Maranto Grocery and Farmers Feed and Seed. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Anguilla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Maranto Sr. and Rosalie Maggio Maranto; brothers, Samuel Paul Maranto, Johnny D. Maranto and A.P. Maranto; sisters, Rosie Mazza, Josephine Hanson, Marie Webb, Sarah Stuart and Connie Ludwig.

Survivors are a brother, Charles Maranto Jr. of Anguilla; a sister-in-law, Babe Maranto of Rolling Fork; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. with a Rosary service at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 14, at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork with Father Alphonse Arulanandu officiating.

Pallbearers will be George Mahalitc, Russell Mahalitc, Chase Mahalitc, Mike Maranto, Bill Durst and John Bass.
