Food taken from home

Food was missing following a burglary reported Monday in Vicksburg.

At 5 p.m. Monday, food items were reported stolen by forced entry into a home on the 300 block of North Poplar St., Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Police on the case arrested two juveniles who were placed in the detention center.

Laser missing from vehicle

A laser was missing following a burglary reported Monday in Vicksburg.

At 7:30 a.m. Monday, a laser valued at $250 was reported stolen by forced entry into a 2004 Chevy pickup truck on the 300 block of McAuley Drive, Williams said.

 

One held on second charge

A man accused of selling drugs was held without bail Tuesday.

At 10 a.m. Tuesday, a warrant was served on Kevin Wilson for the sale of methamphetamine, Williams said. Wilson was already in the county jail on an aggravated assault charge, Williams said. The warrant stems from an undercover operation in November 2015, Williams said.

 

One held for MDOC

A Vicksburg man was held without bail Tuesday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Wade Gaskin, 30, 2011 Florida St., was held in the Warren County Jail Tuesday on a warrant from MDOC for parole violation, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One held for drug court

A Warren County man was held without bail Tuesday for drug court.

Dustin Lawrence, 34, 301 Fairview Drive, was held in the Warren County Jail Tuesday for a drug court violation, according to Warren County jail records.
