Rose Marshall Gardener of Vicksburg died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 71.

Born in Isola, Mrs. Gardner lived in Vicksburg most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her father, J.T. Marshall; mother, Martha Cook Marshall; daughter, Angie Ainsworth; brother, John Arvil Marshall; and sister, Mavis Barnes.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Gardner of Vicksburg; one son, Kendall Stevens of Vicksburg; three stepsons, Mickey Gardener, Rusty Gardener and Donnie Gardener, all of Vicksburg; one daughter, Cynthia Boler of Vicksburg; two brothers, Melvin and Marvin Marshall, both from Vicksburg; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service will be Friday March 18, 2016 at 11am at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Talbert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Boler, Justin Boler, Kendall Stevens, Donnie Gardner, Rusty Gardener and Brandon Stokes.
