Warren Central tennis crushes Greenville

Playing its second match in as many days, Warren Central’s tennis team showed no signs of sluggishness or fatigue.
The Vikings only dropped nine games total and no sets in seven matches as they routed Greenville 7-0 on Tuesday. It was their second victory this week, and fourth in a row to start the season.
George Wilkerson and Lauren Davis won in boys and girls singles, respectively. The boys doubles teams of Matthew Register and William Wooten, and Brent Styles and Jack Richardson won 24 of 26 games while winning in straight sets.
In girls doubles, Alexa Jeffers and Olivia White won the No. 1 point 6-0, 6-2, and Madison Kendall and Skyler Gibson won 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 2 slot. Joseph Jabour and Amanda Boleware won their mixed doubles match 6-0, 6-1.
Warren Central will take on Florence Thursday at 4 p.m. at Halls Ferry Park.
