Thelma Tohill, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Vicksburg, died at her home, Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was 72.

She was retired from the Vicksburg Warren School District and was active with the women’s group of her church, Hawkins United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mildred Pierce.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Tohill; a son, Arthur Tohill (Dawn); three daughters, Kathy Waring (Andy), Betty Higginbotham (Barry), and Zella Tohill; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UMW at Hawkins United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Riles Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016, with visitation at 9 a.m. the same day.

Pallbearers are Wayne Roberts, Buddy Hanks, Hugh Green, Dick Ferguson, Johnny Price, Zack Tohill, Sam Higginbotham, Jake Waring, Andy Waring, Barry Higginbotham, Grant Gannon and Wayne Roberts, Jr.
