A memorial service for Lillie Lee Walker will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Kings Empowerment Center with the Rev. Dexter Jones officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Jefferson County with Robbins Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Walker died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center of Jackson following a long illness. She was 53.

She was a member of Triumphant Baptist Church and a long-time community worker with We Care Community Services of Vicksburg and the Medicaid Division of the State of Mississippi.

She is survived by three sons, Lennie Demont Walker and Le Kendrick Daeons Walker, both of Norfolk, Va., and Leonard Jamar Walker of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; stepson, Patrick Maurice Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Evangelist Josephine Freeman of Wesson and Susie Ann Robertson of Red Lick; three brothers, Elbert Berry Jr. of Wesson, Nathan Lee Berry of Russum, and Edward Lee Berry of Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
