Cary—Mary L. “Sister” Seaton died March 28, 2016, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was 71. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Seaton was preceded in death by son, Danny Ray Watley; sister, Dora Burns; brother, Willie Watley; and one grandson, Nigel Zamir Seaton.

Survivors include her five sons, Robert Earl Watley, Charles B. Seaton, Sheldon T. Seaton, all of Cary, Larry Seaton of Wesson, and Valadimir Seaton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Vickey Seaton of Cary, Teresa Seaton of Rolling Fork, and Yvonne Smith of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Sammie Armstrong, both of Cary, and Tressie Payne of Rolling Fork; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at noon Saturday, April 2, 2016, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Blanton. Burial will be held at Cary Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home of Vicksburg.
