Funeral services for Ashante P. O’Neal will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation is Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, Tuesday and from 10 to 11.

Ms. O’Neal died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at her home in Detroit. She was 24.

She attended Vicksburg and Warren Central High schools and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Celeste Heard; and her uncles; Larry Heard, Derryl O’Neal and Gregory O’Neal.

Survivors include her mother, Rochelle Heard of Vicksburg; father, Shawn O’Neal of Detroit; four daughters, Jordan Tillman, Madison Davis, Brooklyn Davis and Khloe Tillman, all of Vicksburg; son, Danny Smith Jr. of Vicksburg; four sisters, Myuante Heard of Vicksburg,  Lexus Jennings of Memphis, Tenn.,  and Celeste Heard of Detroit; brothers, Micheal Buchanan and Shawnderrick Heard of Nashville, Tenn.; and nieces, nephews, cousins and others relatives.
