Marcella Florence “Marcy” Coleman

Marcella Florence “Marcy” Coleman of Vicksburg died Monday, March 21, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 64.
Ms. Coleman was born in Kodiak, Alaska, to Leonard Chute and Barbara Nekrasoff.
She was a resident of Vicksburg and a member of the Moose Lodge, and worked at the Vicksburg Car Store. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, playing darts and singing karaoke.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Chute and Barbara Nekrasoff; one sister, Little Marcella; and three brothers, Leonard Chute, Phil Borenin and Ronald Borenin.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcella Nancy McCormick of Vicksburg; three sons, Edwin Malpica of Washington, Miguel Malpica of Vicksburg and Roberto Malpica of Vicksburg; four sisters, Barbara Voegtle of Kentucky, Bertha Oquendo of Florida, Loretta Lover of North Carolina and Leona Riley of North Carolina; four brothers, Izair Chute of Washington, Roy Chute of Kentucky, John Borenin of Alaska and David Borenin of Alaska; five granddaughters; four grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Glenwood Funeral Home with pastor Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Billy Comans, Ray Atwood, Silvestor Gaston, Davie Meyers, Edwin-James “E.J.” Malpica and Roy Chute.
