Louise Hatcher Wilson Stewart died Monday, April 4, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 70.

Mrs. Stewart was an avid gardener who loved working in her yard and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Vera Holliday Hatcher; husband, Dennis C. “Pete” Stewart; brothers, Bobby Dean and Edward Stacy Hatcher; and a sister, Jean Claire Barksdale.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Phillips of Vicksburg; three brothers, Jimmy Lee Hatcher of Memphis, Tenn., Freddy Joe Hatcher of Port Gibson and Lewis Hatcher of Rolling Fork; two granddaughters; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery outside of Union Church, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday 10 to 11 a.m.
