One released to U.S. Marshals

A Warren County man was release to the United States Marshals Service.

John Champ Smith, 42, 4425 Lee Road, was held in the Warren County Jail Friday on a federal probation violation warrant before being released to U.S. Marshals, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One charged in auto burglaries

A Warren County man accused of breaking into three vehicles was held Thursday in the Warren County Jail.

Dylan Hart, 19, 3680 Tiffentown Road, was arrested Wednesday and charged with three auto burglaries reported Wednesday morning in Warren County— two on Ward Road and one on the 8500 block of Oak Ridge Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

A juvenile was also taken into custody in connection with the burglaries. All of the stolen property was recovered including two handguns, miscellaneous tools and an iPhone, Lt. Randy Lewis said.

 

One free after drug charge

A Vicksburg man accused of selling drugs was free on bail Thursday.

John Ross, 29, 50 Stillwater Drive, was arrested Thursday and charged with sale of meth, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One held for violation

A Warren County man was held without bail for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Rickey Ballard, 32, 2300 Glass Road, was held in the Warren County Jail Friday on a warrant from MDOC for probation violation, according to Warren County jail records.
