Auto theft and burglary in the county

A vehicle and personal items were missing Wednesday following a theft and a burglary reported Tuesday in Warren County.

At 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 2007 white Chevrolet Suburban license plate WAV235 and personal items from a Nissan Altima were reported stolen from the 1700 block of Tiffintown Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

Three held for MDOC

A Warren County man, a Jackson man and a Vicksburg woman were held without bail Tuesday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Christopher A. Livingston, 24, 217 Sweetgum Lane; Zacious Frazier, 29, 193 Thousand Oak Circle, Jackson; and Cheyenne Emery-Hart, 23, 1215 Adams St., were held in the Warren County Jail Tuesday on a warrant from MDOC for probation violation, according to Warren County jail records.

Livingston is a suspect in the aggravated assault and carjacking of John Thomas, 52, in the parking lot of Blackburn Motors in early March.

 

One held on drug charge

A Warren County man accused of having drugs was held without bail Tuesday.

Delton Burns, 43, 5737 Gibson Road, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of methamphetamine, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One charged with contempt

A Vicksburg woman accused of acting disrespectful to a court of law was released back to Judge Price’s court Monday.

Beverly Slater, 58, 119 Alfred Drive, was arrested Sunday and charged with contempt of court, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One held for drug court

A man was held without bail Tuesday for drug court.

Ethan Frazier, 23, 5210 U.S. 61 South Lot A14, was held in the Warren County jail Tuesday for a drug court sanction, according to Warren County jail records.
