Funeral services for Ester Ann “Sis” Havard will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Locus Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Havard died Tuesday, April 16, 2016, at her home. She was 76. She had worked for the K & B Pharmacy and was a member of the Locust Grove M. B. Church, where she was a member of Women of Action.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Pearl Reed Humes Sr.; daughter, Sharon L. Havard; and brothers Willie Humes Jr., Amos Humes, Layman Humes and Charles Humes.

Survivors include her husband, Lester Havard of Vicksburg; sister, Patricia Humes Figures of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
