Donald and Lexine Cool of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberly Cool to Chase Sutton, the son of Joseph and Kathy Sutton, all of Ruston La.

Miss Cool is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. V.H. Torrey, of Vicksburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Foster C. Cool of Gore, Okla.

Mr. Sutton is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Reagan Sutton of Ruston, La. and Mrs. Vail Baldridge of Baton Rouge, La. and the late Rev. William Baldridge.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Porter’s Chapel Academy and a 2011 graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where she received a Masters of Arts in teaching.

She is employed at Lincoln Parish Public Schools, where she is a special education teacher.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Ruston High School. He is pursuing a nursing degree from Louisiana Tech University.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. June 18, 2016 at the Bridge Community Church in Ruston, La.
