Lou St. Cyr

Lou St. Cyr, age 67, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Jan. 24, 1949. Lou was the son of the late Jean and Yvette St. Cyr.
He was a 1967 graduate of Fitchburg High School and received his degree in wood technologies at the University Massachusetts.
He enjoyed long talks about politics and sports, especially his Red Sox and Celtics.
One of his last requests of everyone was that every American should vote.
He leaves his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Poole St. Cyr of Tupelo; children, Cory and his wife Vanessa St. Cyr, Lysa and her husband Juan Jimenez of Massachusetts, Jason Smith and Keri Parham, Amanda Parham, Jamie and his wife Bridgette Smith, Allison Smith and Anthony Cripps, all of Mississippi; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Lou also leaves his sisters, Paula Normandin (George) of Oklahoma, Jacqueline Ouelletle, Connie St. Cyr, Annette Wuoti (Dan); and brother-law, Ray Perodeau and his late wife, Rosemary.
A Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church with interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Riles Funeral Home, and Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
