Funeral services for Adel Miller will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016,  at Mount Carmel Ministries with the Rev. Mitchell Dent officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Adel Miller died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in  Rolling Fork. He was 84. He was a retired millwright for the Anderson Tully Lumber Mill and a member of the Mount Carmel Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ado Riggins; his mother, Lillie Ann Miller; his son, A. D. Boykins; and brothers, George Riggins and Joseph Miller Jr.

Survivors include wife, Mable Miller of Vicksburg; son, Donald Ray Miller of Las Vegas; daughter, Annie Cartlidge of Mayersville; 35 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
