EDWARDS — Charles David Strong of Edwards died Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was 67.

He was a lifelong member of Edwards, and very active in the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Maude Strong; and his sister Mary Strong Broome.

Survivors include his son, Jeff Strong of Morehead City N.C.; sisters, Sue Ann Williams of Edwards and Teresia Blackmon of Learned; brothers, Bob Strong of Mobile, Ala.; Joe Strong of Jayess and Jimmy Strong of Fort Worth, Texas.

A celebration of his life will be Monday May 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church of Edwards.
