PORT GIBSON — Katie Daniels died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Claiborne County Medical Center in Port Gibson. She was 76.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. Moore and Arnetta Wiggins Dickens; and two brothers, Richard Moore Sr. and Alvin Moore.

Survivors include seven sisters, Clara Key and Gloria Taylor, both of Denver, Deloris Hill of Fayette, Mary Truss of University Park, Ill., Mildred Lee of Chicago, Mel Lowe of Decatur, Ga., Patricia Brooks of Columbus, Ga., and Vivian White of Tifton, Ga.; one brother, Alverson Moore of Vero Beach, Fla.; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service f will be noon Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Springhill M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Henry Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 11a.m. until the service.
