A Warren County man accused of attempting to cause serious bodily injury was held without bail Wednesday.

Herman East, 40, 380 China Grove Road, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault, according to Warren County jail records.

Boat missing from Sullivan Cove

A boat and trailer were missing Thursday following a theft reported Wednesday in Warren County.

At 1 p.m. Wednesday, a 14 foot green and red 1997 Landau boat and a 15 horsepower Yamaha outboard motor on a 16 foot single axle boat trailer were reported stolen from the Sullivan Cove area of Eagle Lake, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.
