Two-car crash sends one to River Region hospital

At least one person was injured in a two-car near head-on collision in the 1800 block of Oak Ridge Road Monday afternoon.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said the wreck occurred about 5:15 p.m. when a southbound Nissan Juke driven by Victoria Nicole Danczyk, 21, 1400 Fisher Ferry Road, collided with a northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by David Dillon Green, 17, 202 Plantation Drive.

Green was taken by ambulance to Merit Health River Region Medical Center for treatment of injuries received in the wreck. Danczyk refused treatment, Pace said.

The accident remains under investigation by deputies.
