Pete Gus Butchikas, 86, of  Vicksburg, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at his home in Vicksburg.

He was born in Clarksdale and graduated from St. Aloysius High School, Class of 1948. He was a former employee of the Glass Kitchen and worked for F&G beverage until his retirement.

He is survived by several relatives, including Gus and Patty Butchikas of  Panama City, Fla., Delores Nosser of  Vicksburg; and close friends, Fred Holmes, Charles Holmes, and Richard Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus Butchikas and Thelma Maroone Butchikas; and a sister, Margaret Butchikas Simmons.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Riles Funeral Home with Dr.  Matt Buckles of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
