Guns missing from vehicles

Two guns were missing Wednesday following two burglaries reported Tuesday in Vicksburg.
At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, a 38 caliber revolver valued at $500 was reported stolen from a 2002 Mazda truck parked on the 1300 block of Warrenton Road, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
At 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun was reported stolen from a 2001 GMC Sierra parked at 110 Cypress Center Blvd., Williams said.
Man held for parole violation
A Vicksburg man was held without bail Wednesday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Timmy Harris, 38, 1900 South St., was held in the Warren County jail Wednesday on a warrant from MDOC for parole violation, according to Warren County jail records.
At 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call about a possible home burglary in progress on the 1900 block of South Street, Williams said. Harris told police he lived at the residence. Officers discovered through a records check that Harris was wanted by MDOC, Williams said.
Man held for not registering as offender
A Warren County man accused of not posting his address on the sex offender registry was held without bail Wednesday.
Danny Wolfe, 34, 631 Stenson Road Lot 2, was arrested Wednesday and charged with sex offender registry failure, according to Warren County jail records.
Vehicle burglary in county
Items were missing Thursday following a burglary reported Wednesday in Warren County.
At 11 p.m. Wednesday, an emergency car kit valued at $50 and an LED flashlight valued at $20 were reported stolen from a Honda minivan on the 100 block of Cole Lake Drive, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.
