Mark Allen Scott Sr., 58, of Kosciusko passed away June 11, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Mark was born in Farmington, N.M., June 3, 1958, and lived in Memphis, Tenn., for a number of years, as well as Kosciusko, which he called home. He worked 40 years in machinery.

He was an avid hunter and loved to fish and was well-known to be quite good at it.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Whitaker and his stepfather Frank Whitaker of Vicksburg; two sons, Mark Allen Scott Jr. and Caleb Dunlap, both of Kosciusko; two daughters, Shelby Scott of Lucedale and Rhiannon Moudy of Kosciusko; two sisters, Renee Scott of Houston, Texas, and Lee Ette Scott of Eugene, Ore.; brother, Bill Palmer of Southaven; six grandchildren; three nephews, one niece; and one great-niece.
