Funeral services for Thelma Jean Ellis will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 2016. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ellis died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Cente. She was 72.
