TALLULAH, La. — Funeral services for Jean B. Clark, 85, of Monroe, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in Tallulah. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.

Mrs. Clark was born June 19, 1931, in Ringgold, La. She passed from this life to her heavenly home on July 6, 2016, at Avalon Place in Monroe. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Monroe.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Clark; and her parents, Lexie Manning Burkhalter and Bunah Allums Burkhalter.

Survivors include her son, Bill Clark of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Lyn White (Marty) of Monroe, and Nel Joyner (Simelo) of New Orleans; grandchildren, Lexie White Burton “Beau,” Will White (Coty-Brooke), Sarah Joyner Robertson (Mike) of New Orleans and Hannah Claire Joyner of Clinton; one great-grandson, Isaac Burton; one sister, Patsy Pendleton of Fort Worth, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Tallulah, the Alzheimer Association, Covenant Presbyterian Church of Monroe, Louisiana, or a charity of your choice.
