Two arrested in separate cases

A Vicksburg woman faces theft and drug charges after her arrest Tuesday during a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 61 South and Pemberton Boulevard, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Victoria Daniel, 21, was arrested about 8 p.m. on a Vicksburg police warrant charging her with two-counts of burglary in the July 27 break-in of Vicksburg Self-Storage on Manor Drive. Daniel was also charged with possession of methamphetamine after the drug was found during the arrest. She was being held without bail in the Issaquena County Correction Facility pending an initial appearance in Municipal Court.

• In another case, John Ross, 29, of Vicksburg, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon after an 11:30 a.m. traffic stop at the intersection of South and Adams streets Monday. He was being held without bail at the Issaquena Count Correctional Facility pending an initial appearance in Municipal Court.
