Michael Lawrence “Mike” Moeller died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, in Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 41.

Born in Paducah, Ky., Mike had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1989. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School in the class of 1993 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Mike was a salesman with Atwood Chevrolet Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He is survived by a son, Michael Moeller Jr.; his parents; Larry and Hilda Jennings Moeller; and sister, Beth Moeller Temple (Jason).

He was preceded in death by his son, Kohl Moeller; maternal grandparents, Bill and Marie Jennings; and his paternal grandparents, Adolph and Ann Moeller.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be in the St. Michael Catholic Church Parish Hall at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, with Father P. J. Curley, as celebrant. Visitation will be in the Parish Hall from 10 a.m. until the service. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
