Clothing, cash and electronics taken in burglaries

Clothing, food and cash were among the items taken in the burglaries of two Vicksburg homes, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra William said.

Clothing and food were reported stolen about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday from a home in the 1100 block of First North Street.

Approximately 15 minutes later, at midnight Thursday, a safe deposit box containing an undetermined amount of cash was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Lightcap Boulevard.

• An air conditioner and a TV with a total value of $680 were reported stolen about 5 a.m. from Cowboy Maloney’s Electric City, 1800 South Frontage Road, Williams said.
