SOUTHERN PINES N.C. — Hazel Clarice Warrington passed away Aug. 22.

The daughter of the late Daniel Lester and Ollie Mae Jones, Hazel was born April 18, 1930, in her beloved state of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Wallace Warrington; her brother James Everette Jones; and her daughter Lynelle Humphries Harrell.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Dianne Mason of Charlotte, N.C.; her son, Stephen Humphries of Aberdeen, N.C.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
