Alice Faye Britt Wolfe

Alice Faye Britt Wolfe born on April 6, 1946, in Belzoni, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was 70 years old.

She lived in many places throughout her life but resided in Vicksburg for the last 30 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is preceded in death by two sons, Perry Dale Wolfe Jr. and Albert Benson Wolfe; her mother, Loraine Spivey Britt; her father, Carl Britt Sr.; three sisters, Shirley Yeager, Mary Cochran and Linda Roe; and one brother, J.C. Britt.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Perry Dale Wolfe Sr.; her daughter, Alveyteen Denise Skeens; and two sons, Scott Wolfe, married to Emily Wolfe, and Steve Wolfe, all of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren, Tasha Wolfe Morton, Donald Lungrin Jr., Chase Lungrin, Jackson Skeens, Kennedy Hunt, Perry A. Wolfe, Ronni Wolfe, Jordan Wolfe, Roman Wolfe; three great grandchildren, Allysa, Lonny and Audrey; her baby sister, Deans Tacker; her beloved namesake niece Amanda Faye Tacker; as well as all of her other nieces and nephews that she adored and they her.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3. Services will begin at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 6300 Indiana Ave.

Immediately following services there will be a procession to Greenville where she will be laid to rest at 2:30 p.m. in Greenville Cemetery located at 1000 South Main St. Friends and family are welcome to come, eat and share memories at the home of another beloved niece, Carla Yeager, located at 112 Oltremari Lane, Greenville.
