Walter Earl Price died Aug. 27, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 54.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Price Sr. and Willie Virginia Price; brothers, George Price Jr. and Larry Price; sisters, Linda Carter, Ruthie Lee Price and Bernice White.

Survivors include his two daughters, Charlotte Sylvester and Jalyncia Price Jones; four sisters, Virginia Richey, Beatrice Wilson, Kathryn Price and Patricia Price; two brothers, John Price and Calvin Price; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny L. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Alban M.B. Church cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, Sept. 2, from 1 to 7 p.m. with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
