Ann Harbour Fuller

Ann Harbour Fuller went to be with her Jesus Sept. 2, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Fuller was born in Lauderdale County but grew up in Ridgeland. The daughter of the late Hall Harbour and Mabel Wright Harbour of Ridgeland, she graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School in 1949. She married her sweetheart from Vicksburg and has been a resident of Vicksburg ever since.

She was an active member of the Cross Point Methodist Protestant Church where she and her husband were former youth leaders.

Together they did evangelistic work in Mississippi as well as other states and the mission field of Belize. After she and her husband retired, they were members and worked in the Florida Holiness Camp Meeting in Lakeland, Fla., where they spent the first three months of every year for 13 years.

Mrs. Fuller was a member of the Warren County Homemaker Volunteers for over 55 years and a member of the Career Club. She was the first teacher’s aid in the city school system and later worked in the county schools until 1975. She and her husband enjoyed their retirement years traveling with their travel trailer and spending time on the Gulf Coast.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by a brother, David Harbour of Vicksburg. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Schnell “Bill” Fuller; two sons, William Frederick “Fred” (Kristy) and Donald Hall “Donny” Fuller; and other relatives including Pamela Smith.

She is survived by 10 grandchildren, God gave them six then blessed them with mates for four, Joshua D. Fuller (Elisabeth), Natalie Fuller Epperson (Paul), Jacob D. Fuller (Alex), Brette Harmon (Jason), Chris Bullock, and Clark Bullock; 12 great grandchildren Knox, Logan, Beckett, Brynne, Virginia, Emma Grace, Levi, Chloe, Mia, Wesley, Owen, and Hendrix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Riles Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy Gerald, Paul Epperson and LaDon Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Active pallbearers will be Joshua Fuller, Ricky Porter, Rhea Fuller IV, Calvin Seyfarth, Wesley Cunningham, Richard Staimple and Larry Graham.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Career Homemakers, Sandra Staimple, Darlene Dawson, Cindy Graham, Fay Gerald, Amy Cunningham, Marion Parker, Marquida and Robert Quimby, and Dr. Walter Johnston.
