City police work theft cases

Copper wiring valued at $600 and tools were reported stolen about 8 p.m. Monday from Cappaert Mobile Homes, 6200 U.S. 61 South, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

The burglary was one of three theft cases reported to police Monday. Others cases included:

• A .45-caliber Taurus handgun was reported taken about 1 p.m. from a car parked at El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant, 110 Cypress Centre Drive.

• A 2001 Honda Renegade ATV valued at $1,500 was reported stolen about 5:20 p.m. from a home in the 700 block of Warrenton Lane.
