The Vicksburg-Warren Chamber of Commerce is extending an invitation to local business and community leaders to take a trip to the Italian region of Tuscany to learn how practices there can help local business.
“The Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the trip in cooperation with Chamber Discoveries, experts in group travel for over 30 years, with a nationwide team of travel consultants and first class travel programs,” said Jane Flowers, chamber executive director.
The travel group will leave Mississippi March 28. The cost is $3,125 per person, based on double-occupancy, and will leave from Jackson-Evers International Airport. The price includes round-trip airfare, first-class hotel accommodations, deluxe tour bus, a knowledgeable English-speaking tour guide, 11 meals, tours and entrance fees for attractions.
A single room for the entire trip will cost an additional $600, and trip cancelation and interruption insurance is available. A deposit of $450 ($150 of which is non-refundable) per person is required and due at the time of registration.
During the trip, Flowers said, tour members “will experience everything Tuscany has to offer—from the beautiful city of Florence to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. You can also visit the gorgeous city of Venice, picturesque Cinque Terre, wine tasting in Chianti or enjoy shopping in Siena.
“On a professional note, you’ll have a special opportunity to learn about local business practices. We are convinced that this will be one of the most unique trips you will have the opportunity to make.”
She said space is limited, and people interested in the trip should contact her at the chamber at 601-636-1012.
